Es ist fast Valentinstag! Daher gibt es heute eine Seite aus meinem Scrapbook-Album mit einem Pinguin-Paar. Sind sie nicht süß?
Dies hier ist die kleinste Pinguin Art der Welt: ein Fairy (oder eben kleiner) Pinguin. Nur etwa 30 cm groß. Sie leben auf Kangaroo Island und gehen jeden Tag im Wasser auf Futtersuche. Abends watscheln sie dann den Strand hinauf bis zu ihren Nistplätzen.
Das Foto ist rot, da man sie nur nachts beobachten kann. Unser Guide hatte eine Rotlicht-Taschenlampe dabei, damit man die Pinguine auch in der Dunkelheit gut sehen kann, ohne die Tiere zu blenden.
These is the smallest penguin species in the world: a Fairy (or Little) Penguin. Only about 30 cm tall. They live on Kangaroo Island and go fishing in the sea every day. At dusk they waddle up the beach to their nesting grounds.
The picture is red, because you can only meet the penguin at night. Our guide had a red shining flashlight, so you can see the penguins in the dark, without blinding the animals .

I just had a fright then, your pigeon blog head, i call they winged devils as i'm terrified of them. your scrapbook page is fab though, penguins are wonderful creatures. Even though i'm scared of birds always have been i feed them in my garden every morning.Thanks for sharing your creation with "by the cute and girly". janex
