Charlie with Dog - a Christmas Card at 35 degrees Celsius

It is so incredibly hot in my apartment, I literally melt away. My only options to get a little coolness is ice cream and my first Christmas- / Wintercard of this year! ;-)

The snowflake background is made with an Embossing Folder and a white SU ink pad. A tutorial post is here.

Auch die Innenseite der Karte ist dekoriert.
Also the inside of the card is decorated.

Und natürlich Stickles-Glimmer für Charlies Fell an seiner Mütze. Wie beim Weihnachtsmann...
And of course, Stickles-Sparkling for Charlie's fur on his cap. Just like Santa Claus ...

a Donkey-Card for Michelle

I made this card for Michelle. Michelle is a DT member at "A Spoon Full of Sugar" and had  an accident a few weeks ago in which she lost an eye. Therefore, the DT organized a "Card Drive" and a donkey stamp was created specially for her, because she likes them so much. So is this card will go on the long trip to Marion, Texas to Michelle's Mailbox. If you also like to send Michelle a card, this is the link to the Card Drive.

Flower Pot Card / Blumentopf-Karte

I made this card finding the idea on Kim Burmeister's Blog. There is a tutorial for a clown card, which is made with almost the same dimensions. In the video the flower pot card is shown at 30 Seconds. You can find her video here.

Her blog also has a post with a photo of the flower pot card.

Two of the flowers can be pulled out with the card. The flower pot is made of  terracotta paper and the edges are distressed with dark brown VersaMagic-Ink.

The leaves are cut from white glossy photo paper, the flowers are stamped with Versamagic and then Brilliance Ink in platinum is applied with a brush. The flowers are slightly bent, so that they look a little more dimensional. I used 3D-foampads to attach them in different heights.

Stamps: Flowers by Stampin' up
Ink: VersaMagic (black, brown & blue) & Brilliance  (platinum)
Tools: Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Paper: Terracotta Büttenpapier by Hahnemühle
